The Protaras Area
Family-friendly and tranquil, Protaras is situated along the sandy coastline of Cyprus' Fig Tree Bay. This glorious beach, only a 5 minute stroll from the villa, is the main attraction of Protaras. It's a fantastic resort which caters for all age groups with a smaller and more intimate feel than nearby Ayia Napa.
Protaras has many excellent family friendly restaurants and bars. In the evening the bars host plentiful talented entertainment acts and there are a number of karaoke bars for those aspiring to X-Factor fame and glory.
There are many water sport locations where you can hire jet skis, paddle boats, go water skiing, para-sailing etc and a wide range of boat trips which can be taken to see the beauty of this part of the island.
There are two waterparks nearby providing thrills and spills for all, one aimed at young children on the outskirts of Protaras and another on the outskirts of Ayia Napa suitable for all ages.
Away from the beach, St Elias Church on the hill overlooking Protaras is worth a visit during the day or at night for the superb views over the town.
Protaras is a fantastic, friendly resort and the villa is in an enviable position a mere 100m from the bars, restaurants and beaches - close enough to not need a car at all during your stay, but far enough away from the action on the strip should you just want to relax.

The Famagusta District - Southeast Cyprus
A short distance away, Pernera is an up and coming resort and is approx 25 minutes walk from the villa along the newly completed coastal walk track. Again there is an abundance of bars, restaurants and plenty of small coves for you to explore.
The working town of Paralimni is a 5 minute taxi ride from the villa and here you can see the 3 beautiful churches in the centre, the quaint shops and plentiful bars well worth a visit. There's also the Carrefour supermarket on the main road into town with a great range for all your food needs if you decide to cook rather than dining out!
The party town of Agia Napa is a short 10 minutes away by taxi or bus for those who want to pub and club all night long...and 5 minutes away in the opposite direction is the year-round village of Kapparis with it's select range of bars & restaurants. You'll also find football, rugby and all the other big international sporting events catered for in Kapparis on the big screen even through the winter in the Pig & Whistle pub on the main road...
The north of Cyprus is now open at the borders and you can visit the ghost town of Famagusta and also the beautiful town and harbour of Kyrenia. It is well worth a visit and approximately 20 minutes drive time to the border at Vrysoulles.
The south east end of Cyprus is one of the nicest areas on the island and once visited you will come back year after year.
Once you arrive at the villa it is useful to purchase the local paper - the Cyprus Mail, which will give in detail all the festivals and events that may be taking place whilst you are staying in the resort.
Further Afield
Larnaca is the international airport you fly into for this villa. Larnaca is a large town with a beautiful promenade and an excellent shopping area approximately 45 minutes drive from villa.
Resorts such as Limassol and Paphos are approximately 1-2 hours drive away and it is this end of the island where the 2 best golf courses - Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley, are located.
Nicosia is the capital and largest town. It has plenty of historical sites to visit and it is also here you will find the best shopping areas. It is approximately 45 min - 1 hour drive from the villa.
The beautiful Troodos mountains are approximately 1 1/2 hour drive away and offer freshly picked fruit & vegetables straight from the orchards and farms, lovely local souvenirs and trinkets from the markets in Troodos and a welcome change of scenery and temperature to the coast!

Protaras View Villa No. 2 is a 5* villa furnished to the very highest of standards. The downstairs has a large open plan lounge and dining area and a large fully fitted kitchen with every extra. There is a cloakroom with WC and wash basin located on this floor. Two sets of patio doors give access to the large and spacious pool area at the side or the alfresco dining area at the back.
To the upstairs of the property you will find 2 double bedrooms - the master bedroom having en suite facilities and a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. All bedrooms have floor to ceiling fully fitted wardrobes and top quality bed linen. The family bathroom is also located on this floor and includes bath with shower over, WC & washbasin.
This villa is fully air-conditioned throughout though we request guests to run the air-conditioning only when all windows are closed and to please not leave air conditioning on when out of the villa - this can lead to electrical problems. It only takes 5 minutes to cool down a room even in the peak months of July/August.

Protaras View Villa No. 2 is spacious with a large fully tiled overflow pool and a spacious area for dining al fresco. All sun beds & cushions are provided for. An outdoor table and chairs are also available for your private use.
A gas BBQ is provided as is all towels for the pool area. The pool is cleaned 2/3 times per week by our specialist pool cleaners. An outside shower is provided for your use after returning from the beach or for simply getting rid of that suntan oil before entering the pool. Ideal for the kids to use in the long summer months.
